Repairing Stucco Cracks

Stucco cracks are not uncommon. But it is essential to rectify upon discovery. There are many reasons why a stucco crack can occur. Some notable mentions include: settling, weather changes during stucco installation, improper installation resulting in forced cracks, in caulked joints, incorrectly installed underpayment, or paper lath, and more. We have a system to repair stucco cracks swiftly depending on the size of the cracks. If the crack is less than a quarter inch, than the repair is fairly simple and can be repaired by simply installing a special Filler/ caulk in the damaged area. If the crack is greater than a 1/4”  the repair will need a bit more work from one of our specialist. Give us a call today, we can help. 239-692-9578

Exterior Stucco Moulding

Trimming the exterior of your home with stucco moulding is an asset to your home and community. The trim brings value to your home and increases your curb appeal.

However a hidden issue that many homeowners don't plan for is found underneath the stucco of the mouldings, or basically the true form of the moulding which is often Styrofoam. Many times these Styrofoam pieces covered with dryvit plaster or coated with stucco and cement are destroyed by birds (i.e. wood peckers etc.) leaving a once beautiful exterior home, in need of some repairs. You can fix the problem by simply calling Vite Walls to fill the gaps and recover the surface with the proper exterior coating, but if you're looking to get the better of the birds, you can replace the moulding in its entirety with a custom trim job, properly stuccoed by one of our specialist.

If you're surprised that the moulding around your home is foam and not cement stucco in its true form don't worry call Vite Walls today! We can help! 239-424-9219  of info@vitewalls.com
